Gotta love those 5am starts

After a very early start, and on finishing my 1st of two jobs for the day (by 7:30am) in gorgeous melbourne it was time to get down to business and .......... have a baileys?

Ripping up at Rippon 10

At the weekend just passed I was lucky enough to be involved with the Rippon Festival 2010 in Wanaka at the Rippon Winery. The weather was HOT and the Bands were HOTTER and not to mention BIG. Well at least one was HUGE and that band was Eru Dangerspiel, headed by ex Trinity Roots drummer Riki Gooch. With over 30 people onstage it was a massive sound. I was singing in the backing 'choir' for the 2nd time with this band. It was a fantastic experience and one I would love to repeat again, whether it be as a musician or a photographer. Other bands included Fat Freddies Drop, The Black Seeds, The Mint Chicks and others. Below are some of my photos from the weekend.
